In 2008, Poppy's friend John ran the Great North Run in her honour raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Poppy Jean Turner was born on the 16th of September 2007 in Leeds General Infirmary, England weighing  3.8Kg (8lb 3oz).
